*Always consult a physician before starting a new workout routine You go to the gym to be healthy and look good, right? In addition to coaxing those vanity muscles to come out and play and increasing your chances for a longer life, it’s been proven that there is a direct link between sex and exercise. That’s right boys. Getting in the gym can usher you mood along to getting into the sheets. What happens when you exercise is your brain creates endorphins that activate the release of sex hormones, loading you up (pun definitely intended) to be ready for a little one-on-one (...or two or three) action in the bedroom. But are there certain exercises that release more endorphins than others? Survey says yes. These don’t have to be super intense. Just intense enough. After all, you need to save some of that energy to create your own post workout, personalized steam room. Here are ten of those exercises to get you primed to pump:

Hip Thrusts.

Lay on your back and put your feet flat on the floor. Try to kiss the ceiling with your pelvis. Add a barbell for fun.

Squats.

With weights or without, drop your ass to the floor. Front squats, back squats…live your best life.

Kneeling rope crunches.

Get on your knees and grab the cable ropes over your shoulders. Bend at the waist.

Push Up Thrusts.

In a bear crawl position -- aka on your hands and balls of your feet with knees bent -- straighten your knees and thrust yourself forward into a high plank position. Then return to your starting position and sit back on that shit.

Leg Extension Hip Thrusts.

Go to the leg extension machine and slide your hips under the leg bar. In a reverse plank position, use the power from your hips to force that weight up.

Cycling.

Get your ass on a seat, lean into it, and take it all the way home.

Dancing.

Involves your hips, legs, chest, head...full body. Full out.

Running.

You don’t need to go all the way to 11mph to get the benefits rolling. A simple jog will do. Indoors or out. If you’re outdoors, take off your shirt. It’ll help.

Yoga.

Beyond endorphins, yoga will bring you some flexibility and in touch-ness and will help you to be present with yourself.

Hip Adductor and Abductor.

Whether you’re opening your legs or squeezing them closed, engage your abs and pull up on the handles with your arms and you’ve got a total body experience.
