Self-care does not necessarily mean you have to leave the comfort of your own home. While getting your sweat on at your local neighborhood gym and checking out the hot pieces of ass is always nice, it is also great to stay indoors and focus on being your best self. So we are going to break down just exactly how you can maintain that gorgeous body and mind while staying home with these self-care tips.

Online Workouts

We just mentioned it but we are going to say it louder for those in the back who did not quite hear us, you can work out in the comfort of your own home when getting to the gym is not an option. In case you have not heard of it, the internet is a wonderful place to access an ass-ton of workout videos and tutorials. If you want JLo abs, honey there is a video for that. Want an ass like Kim K? Well, there is a doctor for that but we’re not here to gab about surgical options! Toned abs or ass, whatever the case - there is a video out there to help you stay physically active inside.

Serve Face (Mask)

Even if you haven’t stocked up, you can always order face masks online and wait for those wonderful sheets to arrive on your doorstep. When they do, just sit back, relax and in mere minutes you will find yourself in facial bliss. Plus, you can totally do a face mask while catching up on your shows. You could not do that at a spa. Well, you could but your couch wouldn’t be there and you likely would not be in your favorite sweats.

Strike a (Yoga) Pose

Working out and hitting the weights or treadmill can only entertain your self-care routine for so long. You also have to get that body loose! Yoga isn’t just a great, low key workout for beginners but it is also one of the most relaxing workouts one can do in their living room. And not much is required. Yeah, you could go and buy a cheap mat online but you could also use a towel or a small blanket if necessary.

Get in the Kitchen

Eating out. What a blessing, but when you can’t and don’t want to have take out you can always...cook at home. I know, crazy! But it’s something many of us do on the regular and guess what? Most of the time it’s 100% healthier. If you’re one of those people who suddenly freak out whenever they are forced to use anything but the microwave, take this opportunity to put those hours of watching Food Network to good use. Find a healthy recipe online and get it!

Meditate Your Badass

Not only should you be focusing on your body and face, but also your mind during your at-home self-care. Find something on the wonderful world wide web that works for you and take full advantage of that much-needed downtime. We especially suggest this if you have been feeling overwhelmed by any number of things in life including work, family, a president that doesn’t know how to read. You know, all the normal things that usually cause stress.

Journal

So after you’ve stretched, worked out, got your face all right you can sit down and do one more thing that many people consider a form of self-care and that’s journal. We realize that many of you haven’t put pen to paper since middle school but we highly recommend picking up the nearest writing utensil and going to town with the written word. Make it a daily thing, and in a year you can look back to where your head was now and see how much you have grown during the past 365 days.
