Adam Ramzi has that sultry, leading man quality that has defined his presence on stage, in commercials, and on-screen in both mainstream and adult films. He has that naughty glint in his eyes and while he delights us with his body and muscled good looks, he also can spar with you wit for wit on a variety of subjects. He’s a well-versed scholar who can chat with you about mental health, sex positivity, racial diversity, and more. Raised in Los Angeles in the Middle Eastern community, he was surrounded by a conservative environment despite being minutes from one of the biggest gay cities in the world which has given him a unique perspective on sexuality and culture. He’s filmed hot content for his Fans site, top studios, and a diverse cast of co-stars. Whether he’s in a suit or completely naked, he’s got our full attention.

His latest project, blending all of his talents, is hosting Sorry for Asking Podcast with bestie and fellow adult performer Cole Connor. The two discuss sexuality, porn, hot topics, and more in a completely candid and non-judgmental atmosphere. In addition to interviewing other porn personalities, other LGBTQ celebs will pop up from time to time as well.

We caught up with Adam in between one of his many projects to chat about sex, podcasting, diversity, and, of course, underwear.

What do you love most about being in the industry?

I’ve met some amazing people and had some really great experiences creating porn over the years, but mostly it’s been amazing getting to know myself better through the process. I’ve learned a lot of important lessons!

Do you think diversity has gotten better in gay porn?

Definitely. The people have spoken, and studios are listening.

Have you always been an exhibitionist?

Uh, not always! I think I’ve always been sex-positive and curious about adopting an exhibitionist nature, but once it came it came hard and fast. I still am a little shy in certain situations. Or, maybe not shy, but I still like to keep some things to myself. A little mystery. Or at least as much mystery as a person like me can have.

What was filming your first scene like?

It was an experience! And I have a detailed account of it in a blog I used to write - here’s the link!

What sets you apart from other male performers in the industry?

Oh gosh. This is a tough one, but I think I’ll say what sets me apart is that I’ve lasted so long in this industry because I’ve been very careful not to let working in adult films affect my relationship with sex. I never wanted it to become work, and maybe, or hopefully, people can tell that I’m really into what I’m doing on camera.

What is your podcast, Sorry for Asking, all about?

Sorry For Asking is about the creation and consumption of adult content, and how it’s shaped us as queer people.

What do you love most about being a podcaster?

I was educated in journalism and mental health in my undergraduate and graduate programs, respectively, and got a whole different kind of education making adult films. I feel like this podcast helps me blend all of this into one outlet, and I absolutely love it.

What is your favorite thing about your co-host, Cole Connor?

Cole is just such an amazing ray of light in my life and has been for more than six years now. He’s so damn funny and full of surprises, and we have a great rapport with one another, so it’s an absolute joy to do this with him.

What kind of porn are you watching on your time off?

A lot of different things capture my attention, and it’s a variety of things that gets me going. I guess to answer this question, my favorite porn involves performers who exhibit some serious chemistry. I don’t care if it’s fake. If they’re selling it well enough for me to buy it, they’re doing the lord’s work as far as I’m concerned.

Would you ever hook up with a fan?

I would, and I have! It doesn’t always go well. Sometimes it has. But I make people nervous enough as it is, and I don’t want a fan to trip the fuck out that they’re with me. Just enjoy it, because if you are, chances are I am too.

What kind of scene do you want to film, but haven’t yet?

I’ve done practically all of it, but I will say what I want to do more of us art porn - beautifully lit, beautifully shot, and hell, give me some good dialogue and emotional scenes, or even funny scenes. I loved being stupid in Falcon’s Scared Stiff 2, and being emotional in Himeros’ Journeys and Disruptive Films’ Back In Town. More of that, please!

Who is your celebrity crush?

This changes all the time. Currently, I’ve been watching Abbott Elementary and it’s really cute and I think Tyler James Williams is so adorable and understated, and when I watched him win a Golden Globe for it, I thought he was so humble and well-spoken, it stirred my loins! Next week it will be someone different. But my forever celebrity girl crush is and always has been Padma Lakshmi from Top Chef. I would melt if I met her. Like straight up turn into a puddle.

What do you want your fans to know most about you?

That I love Taco Bell!

What kind of underwear are you wearing around the house on a day off?

I have a pair of house boxers that are comfortable and make me feel sexy. A necessity for all underwear.

What kind of underwear do you find hottest on a guy?

I love a white briefs and tube sock combo. So sexy.

If you were to design a pair of Andrew Christians, what would they look like?

Low rise, pouchy without being pointy, thin but not too tight in the waistband, and perks up the booty without hugging it too tight. I ain’t a Christmas ham, but I do like to be supported!
