Meet AJ Sloan, porn’s newest obsession. AJ came into the industry just last year and jumped right in riding the Onlyfans wave during COVID. Soon after, he made his gay professional porn debut with Treasure Island and Kristen Bjorn. He is a porn unicorn – a true power verse who can take it just as sexily as give it. Off-screen, you can find him hiking mountains and museums (look for his Instagram ass pics taken on his trail walks). AJ was forced, like so many others during the pandemic to shift gears from his career in the New York art scene, choosing to spend some time living abroad in Spain for 9 months, to soaking up the sun in Palm Springs, to hitting the industry hard (pun intended) in Los Angeles.

He stopped by to give us this Andrew Christian exclusive to chat about the adult industry, art, coming out, and saving that load!

What kind of kid were you growing up?

I was super mischievous but tried to stay slick about it. I was kinda the Ferris Bueller of my high school. Fun Fact: the "Sloan" of "AJ Sloan" comes from Ferris' gf's name "Sloan Peterson." I always felt like she was the real protagonist of that film, but I've digressed. I do miss my teenage years of sneaking into Bounce Night Club in Cleveland and watching drag queens do Olympic-level backflips on stage. I also remember betting on pool games for drinks since I couldn't get my own with my High School ID.

You have lived all around the globe, where do you consider home?

I left NYC last January and moved to Spain for a bit. I predictably fell in love and cannot wait to return. The vibe is just right for me. California has its benefits. I love the outdoor beach gyms in Santa Monica, and of course, the weather is gorgeous. The boys are cute and there is always a drag brunch going on. At the end of the day, though, NYC is home.

What do you love most about New York? What do you love most about Palm Springs?

NYC is the cliché love/hate relationship. It is by far the filthiest city but at the same time is the city that permits me to be at my filthiest. Cannot wait to get home and visit my friends at the Cock, it has been too long. Palm Springs is a different planet, definitely a slower-paced suburban vibe. I do love being active and the hiking here is out of this world. And for those of you who follow my Twitter and other pages, you know that my hikes can get a bit naughty.

How did you get into the adult industry?

For all of my adult life, I worked in the NYC art scene as a curator and art director. Working with so many artists, I inevitably got into modeling for live drawing classes, and then photography. And if you have not yet already realized, I am a bit of an exhibitionist at heart. Like many folks, my professional life was put on indefinite hold due to COVID. My friends were the ones who originally motivated me to embrace my appreciation of sex that society tends to frown upon. But frowns make wrinkles and society loves sex as much as they pretend to not. Sooo...

What has surprised you the most about the adult industry?

Hhhmm, not a whole lot. I guess one pleasant surprise I have experienced is how kind and down-to-earth the majority of the people that I have met are. Maybe it's all of the orgasms, who knows.

When did you first realize you weren't like the other boys growing up?

That depends, I am assuming that the boys I was fooling around with are not the demographic you are referring to? LOL...I don't know, I guess it wasn't until high school that I realized that making out with both girls and boys was not the norm I thought it was. I grew up in a pretty liberal and laid-back area of Cleveland, though, and being gay was not anything to bat an eyelash at.

What is your coming-out story?

I wish I had a more interesting one, to be honest. As I had mentioned earlier, I used to sneak into gay nightclubs and see drag shows (and more). There was one day that I was driving my mother to go shopping and I was telling her all about the queens I had seen the night prior. At some point, she very casually asks me "so you are gay, right?" And I answered something like "obviously," lol. It was pretty simple and the conversation continued. It was not really coming-out so much as a confirmation.

What kind of scenes do you like to film the most?

Outdoors. I love fucking in public places. Easy answer. Not in the middle of the cuisine aisle at Target but, you know, in the appropriate gay bar or cruising park, locker room, the usual. My favorite is when a happy onlooker volunteers to film, I think it is so hot, so communal. And of course, any group situation is a fucking blast. The more dick and ass the merrier!

What is your main goal of being part of the adult industry?

I am not a greedy boy. I simply would like to continue this little adventure I am on that is allowing me to travel as I please and see my friends scattered around different cities in different countries and continue to meet new people.

You are also into art...who are some of your favorite artists?

Into art, lol, I like that. That is a very broad question but I will go ahead and narrow it down to living artists who are currently working. Joan Cornellá is definitely in my current top 3. He is a painter/illustrator whose work cracks me up. The images are absurd and the humor is smoker's lung dark. His work actually has a point though, which I feel is not present with a lot of current art. Of course, Gio Black Peter is always on my radar. I have worked with him on a few shows and can honestly say that he is one of the best artists I have gotten to work with. And I am so happy that the NYC energy of pre-"trust-fund baby" East Village shines through in his work. At the end of the day, though, I get lost in the Bouchers and Whistlers at the Frick Collection in NYC. I can spend hours there. And the Thyssen-Bornemisza collection in Madrid is gigantic and astounding. Jesus. Oh, and the story behind it cracks me up. Carmen Cervera is one boss b****.

What is your worst date story?

Will you settle for my second worst? I met this hottie at the gym. I had been swooning over him for weeks and at some point I got the balls to ask him out. When I met him at the bar, he was dressed like a gay mime (I had never seen him out of his gym clothes) and then he went on to list the properties his family owns around the world, his favorite designers, and what beaches around Europe he frequents over the summer months. Now that is all great for him, no shade, but the snooty elitist vibe got to be a bit much after the first hour. Once I finally found the chance to get a word in, I panicked and made an excuse to get out of there. Not my proudest moment but also no regrets on aborting the mission when I did.

Who has been one of your favorite costars and why?

Oh gosh, only one? There are so many! Jason Coxx is a great mix of sweet and sexy. Our chemistry is on point and I love playing with him. Xavier Blanco is definitely up there too. He has a great personality and I am a sucker for a nice furry butt. Aiden Ward is definitely one of my favorites as well. Super cool and I love his vibe. So many more, this question isn't fair!

How do you prepare for a day of filming?

By not rubbing one out when I wake up when I usually do (blushing). Save that load!

Who is your dream costar you haven't filmed with yet?

DeAngelo Jackson's IG account makes me salivate. He is so beautiful I probably wouldn't even know what to say. I would probably involuntarily fold in half and grab my ankles and just wait, lol. Lance Charger is definitely one I have been looking forward to. I am a sucker for a hairy chest and a nice smile.

If you were to design a pair of Andrew Christians, what would they look like?

Well, I definitely would stay true to the color palette of the gym class scene in Clueless. They would definitely be black and white, and of course sporty. Something that you can wear to the gym and then immediately out for the night to keep that precious gym smell on them for the boys to enjoy. Oh, and jockstrap. Obviously.
