Brody Kayman is a new face to the porn industry. Not only is he new to the adult industry, but he is also new to being openly gay. He was married and worked in construction - the true straight man fantasy. Coming to terms with his sexuality, he is already a porn star and engaged to be married to the man of his dreams…and I can’t even get a second date. Sigh.
We caught up with Brody during his visit to West Hollywood for this Andrew Christian exclusive.
How did you get into the adult industry?
I got tired of doing construction jobs for not a lot of money and so when I started to realize how big I really was, I figured I would give it a shot and see what would happen. I had no idea how to use any social media when I started.
What was filming your first scene like?
Filming for the first time was a very different experience for me, it was the first time on camera with another performer. He was very professional and very much a sweetheart, so it was a very positive experience. Having sex on camera made me a little anxious as well, but has since subsided.
Have you always been an exhibitionist?
No, I have always kept to myself and maintained my privacy, especially since I was married to my ex-wife.
When did you realize that you were bigger than the other guys?
It wasn’t until about the beginning of the second year of being separated from my wife and exploring my sexuality that I realized exactly how big I was, and to be honest I’m still surprised every now and again. When I told anyone that I wasn’t interested in meeting (very nicely), they would ask why and so when I told them people started offering to change their appearance and I couldn’t understand why.
You are fairly new to the adult industry, what have you learned the most so far?
I have learned that despite most of the images that performers portray, most people are incredibly nice and really sweet.
You are also in a relationship, how do you balance porn life with romantic life?
Balancing my romantic and porn life is actually very simple. I use a separate phone and set specific days of the week for creating content or working on social media. Being able to set the work phone down and only pull it out when I need it has changed even my quality of life.
How do you prepare for a day of filming?
When filming for my fan sites, I usually do it from my house. Preparing for that means making sure everything is staged properly, and clean, and also making sure other performers have water and fresh towels to shower with after. Studio preparation is just running lines the night before and having options in terms of wardrobe for the producers to choose from.
How do you unwind from a day of filming?
Taking a nice long hot bath and then spending time with my fiancé (playing video games, going to dinner, or watching a movie).
What are the biggest assumptions people have about you?
I would say one of the biggest assumptions is that I am an overly aggressive hardass. People generally say that I’m not what they thought I was because I’m very sweet and sensitive.
What kind of underwear are you wearing around the house on a day off?
Generally speaking, if I’m home I’m commando. It’s very hard to find comfortable underwear because of my size. I like to let it just swing around.
What kind of underwear are you wearing on date night?
Date night underwear are ones that have an extra-large pouch that pushes out my cock more. I like everyone to wonder how it fits in my 5’ 2” fiancé.
What kind of underwear do you love seeing on a guy the most?
I have always had a soft spot for Andrew Christian underwear. There is just something about an Andrew Christian jock strap on a beautiful man that gets me precumming like crazy.
If you were to design a pair of Andrew Christians, what would they look like?
I would go for the jockstrap. I want a black waistband and straps with a medium-sized red line through the middle of them. The pouch would need to have more room than most even make (for me). The color of the pouch would be a pastel gray that complements the black and red. Of course, I would need the material that absorbs the most sweat, for obvious reasons.
