Can a real-life porn couple make it work? If you’re porn hotties Dillon Diaz and Jake Waters, this answer is a resounding YES! After a wedding straight out of People Magazine, the two continue to film, make Fans content, and make waves in the adult industry. Based on open communication, trust, and a little kink, the couple is making a family home for themselves. With a number of studios they have filmed with, they are exploring their kinky side with KinkMen.com. Can we expect a scene together? Only time will tell.

Both have been very vocal and instrumental in creating a dialogue about diversity in porn. As black men, they want to change the narrative of representation in the adult industry that has slowly but surely been changing for the good. They both film with Noir Male, a studio centered around racial diversity and positive representation.

We caught up with them after their Honeymoon to get the tea exclusively for Andrew Christian.

How did you two meet?

Jake: Dillon and I met on set on November 9th, 2019. I was sitting down talking to the director about all the do's and don'ts while filming. While the director was talking to me, Dillon walked in the front door with the biggest smile I have ever seen. I didn't hear a word the director was saying to me after that. The next day I was informed that Dillon and I would be working together. After the scene was done, we exchanged personal information and stayed in contact. Fast forward to April 29th, 2023, I'm proud to call him my Husband, with a capital H!

What was it about the other person that you responded to the most?

Jake: Dillon's smile and how sensitive he was. I have never met a person who smiled as big and as bright as he does. Many people don't know that about him, but he's extremely sensitive and caring. He has gone out of his way more times than I can count to make sure that I have everything that I need or want. When we are apart for more than a few days, I always come home to a card from him telling me how much he misses me and loves me.

Dillon: There was something so easy and carefree about how we related to each other. I felt so comfortable with him. It was like I was talking to an old friend, even though we had just met. There was even a moment I can recall thinking to myself “it’s him.” Then I reminded myself that this was not the first time that I’d thought that. It just so happens that this time I was right. One of the other things about him that brings me so much peace is that there is never any drama between us. I don’t have to be afraid of how he’s going to respond to something that I say and I don’t have to be afraid that something crazy is going to come out of his mouth. We have a mutual respect for one another, and we communicate so well.

What are the pros and cons of being married in the porn industry?

Jake: As of right now I can say there aren’t any cons of being married and being in the industry. We have established a great reputation individually before we became a couple. And now that we are married, we're known in the industry as a "Power Couple." When people say our names, it comes with a level of respect and professionalism.

Dillon: I haven’t experienced any cons. It’s great being with someone who is familiar with the business so I don’t have to explain things and there’s never any jealousy or insecurity. We know what this is. It’s a paycheck. We can enjoy our work without guilt and come home to our loving husbands.

Who proposed to whom, and how?

Jake: I proposed to Dillon on May 16th, 2022 which just happened to be his birthday. My mom was in town during this time. I was already planning on having a few friends over to help celebrate his birthday. I was having a conversation with my mom and I told her that I picked up his ring and thought I’d ask Dillon to marry me. She said, "Why not do it tonight?" So, I did it in front of our friends and a few family members who happened to be in town. Dillon was completely shocked and surprised.

Dillon: We both proposed. He proposed to me first on my birthday in front of some of our friends and family. Six months later, I proposed to him privately while on vacation in Palm Springs. I wanted him to have the experience of being asked for his hand in marriage too. It’s really a nice feeling.

What have you learned the most about life from each other?

Jake: I learned how to be a little more relaxed and not take things so seriously. I used to work for a multi-billion-dollar company, and my stress levels were at 10. I had so many emails to respond to, meetings to attend, and manage my team of 12. It was extremely overwhelming.

Dillon: He has taught me to just be happy, not to worry so much, overthink, or analyze things to death. “Everything’s going to be OK.”

Has being in the porn industry affected your sex life at home?

Jake: It has affected our sex life, but not in a negative way. Our personal sex life has slowed down, but that is because of work schedules. After our shoots we'll get tested to make sure that we are not transferring any STDs or STIs back and forth to each other.

Dillon: We may have a little less sex at home but when we do, it’s really good. It heightens the intimacy between us. Our cuddles and kisses are extra passionate and we do that every day.

With sex being a big part of your job, how do you keep the spark alive privately in the privacy of your own bedroom?

Both: By keeping the cameras out of the bedroom for the most part. As much as our fans want to see our content, we enjoy our personal sex life more when we don’t have to worry about angles, lighting, or putting on a "show.” We can be free, open, and try new things.

You two have gotten involved with KinkMen! What has been your relationship with the kink world prior to working with them?

Jake: I didn't have a relationship with KinkMen before filming. I didn't have a relationship with anything kinky at all. I had a really bad relationship years ago that kept me away from this type of work.

Dillon: Working in adult entertainment has exposed me to a lot of experiences including fetish and kink. Before my first KinkMen shoot, I was pretty vanilla. Now I’m a lot more open-minded and experimental. Filming for KinkMen really has taught me how to be a submissive without feeling like less of a man and being a sub has taught me how to be a better more attentive Dom.

Which KinkMen films would you name as your best work?

Jake: I have only been in a few Kink scenes. They have all been so different, I can't pick my favorite.

How kinky are you in your real life?

Jake: I'm still discovering how kinky I can be, and what my limits are. When I’m on the Kinkmen set, I find I like being tied up, spanked, some electric play, and being dominated. Dillon and I have just started introducing some kink into our personal life. I like ruff sex, and Dillon knows just when and how I like it.

Dillon: I’m pretty vanilla at home but I do spank Jake’s ass when it feels right to do so. Sometimes I may put my hand on his neck. If it turns him on I do more. If it feels like he is just tolerating it, I back off.

What are some of your biggest kinks?

Jake: My biggest kink is being tied up, blindfolded, and having my nipples played with. I love the excitement of not knowing what’s coming next.

Both: We're spoiled when it comes to this. This type of dialogue might be difficult for other couples, but for us is easy. We'll simply approach one another and say “Hey, I’m interested in trying xyz. What do you think?”

What do you love most about being in the adult industry?

Both: It’s such an adventure! Every day is a new day and an opportunity to try something new, meet someone new, and to push our limits. It can also give us the opportunity to travel and to reconnect with an old industry friend for new experiences. We also really enjoy the freedom that we in setting our own schedules.

Where do you see yourself in the future as part of the adult industry?

Jake: I'm still very much still interested in working in front of the camera, but would love to do more on the "straight" side of things for the exposure to the adult industry. As of right now, I'm doing some behind-the-camera work (PAing, taking photos, and learning lighting and camera work) so I can become a well-rounded entertainer. I have been writing a lot lately. I pitched one of my stories to a studio a few months ago, and not only did they like it, they decided to go ahead and green-light it, and they're allowing me to direct it. I hope that this is the first of many projects under my belt.

Dillon: I really love acting, so I intend to continue acting for as long as I can. I’m taking lessons now and maybe one day I can be a mainstream actor. However, if I stay in the adult industry, I will eventually move into directing.

What is your message to your fans?

Both: Thank you so much for your love and support! We find it funny that we were both shy, socially awkward young men, who never thought that we would ever be any kind of performer, let alone in the adult industry. Being a sex symbol was a fantasy that we never thought would come true, but here we are living out our dreams for the world to see.

What kind of underwear are you wearing at home on a day off?

Jake: If I'm not working, I'm usually walking about the house in gym shorts or short shorts on. The only time I'm really wearing underwear around the house is if I happen go out to run errands and don't take them off when I get home.

Dillon: None whatsoever. If I’m wearing underwear at all they are the first thing to come off as soon as I walk through the door.

What kind of underwear are you wearing when it’s date night?

Jake: That depends on the date. If we're going to the movies or a quick bite to eat, I have on briefs. If we're going out to a nice restaurant, I'm wearing something sexy.

Dillon: Usually none at all, but if I’m wearing anything it would be a jockstrap.

If you were to design a pair of Andrew Christian underwear, what would they look like?

Jake: They would need to be blue with a medium size waistband. I would like them to be somewhere between a brief and board short. For me, I would need the pouch bigger than normal, and a little more material for my butt. If they could be somewhat see-through with a pattern, that would be perfect.

Dillon: They would definitely be a jockstrap or a jock thong combo. I like to see the ass cheeks out. I’m a big fan of sheer panels on the side or back, but the pouch would definitely be something comfortable, breathable, masculine, and very sexy.
