How did you put your stage name together?
Dale was the name Sean Cody gave me! Jkabobs was my nickname growing up. So, I took Jkab from there. And Ethan was a name I always liked.
Spill the tea, what was your first sexual experience like?
It wasn’t good. LOL. It was in high school. I was a freshman and met up with a senior from a rival high school. He and I jacked off together, and when I finished he asked if he could f* me! AFTER I had finished! I said yes. It was my first time, so it hurt and didn’t feel good because I had JUST cum. I thought, if this was what gay people did, I wasn’t gay. Lol. I was very wrong. Haha.
Have you always been an exhibitionist?
No. I was very shy and liked to keep “bedroom stuff” personal. I think that was more due to social conditioning because once I explored the exhibitionist side of me, I realized I really liked it!
How did you get into filming adult scenes?
I entered an underwear contest at a bar in San Diego and was recruited for Sean Cody!
What sets you apart from other adult performers?
Space. On the surface, this is a joke I like to use whenever someone asks me this, but it also has a deeper meaning. It reminds me to distance myself from the expectations and comparisons to others in the business.
Do you think racial diversity and inclusion have gotten better in the adult industry?
The adult industry includes more ethnicities than they ever have in the past. It’s VERY slow but is getting better. From an Asian standpoint, when I was growing up I saw very few Asian men (I could count them on one hand) in the industry, or even in any gay ads. However, you are starting to see more of us included in this industry. The road is long and, while slow, the industry is taking it. The more our community continues to applaud and support the inclusion of all types, the faster the journey will go. I think it’s happening, which makes me very hopeful it’ll continue to go in an upwards trajectory.
What do you love most about being in the adult industry?
What I love most is seeing the progression of more Asian men in the industry. Representation matters. I often get Asian men telling me they’re proud to see us in the industry because it makes them feel desirable. Visibility is important, and I love that so get to be a small part of the positive impact on the community.
What are the biggest misconceptions about people in the adult industry?
That we are dumb and do this because we can’t do anything else. This is a business. It takes a lot of hard work, intelligence, and luck to be successful. We constantly strategize and market ourselves in ways that will help our business grow. For those of us that are fortunate enough to be able to do it full-time, we can make more money than the jobs we had prior to doing it.
What is your idea of a romantic date?
Any one-on-one time I get with my boyfriend Dean Michaelz is a romantic date. He fills my free time with love and romance and I’m very lucky.
What are some outside hobbies or talents you have that we would be surprised to learn?
I love to dance and sing! Taking a jazz dance class or singing at a karaoke bar are things I enjoy doing!
What kind of underwear are you wearing around the house on a day off?
I’m usually commando or in a thong. I’m in a thong phase. I just love how they make ass look.
What does being an Andrew Christian Trophy Boy mean to you?
It means so much. I grew up seeing his underwear and wanting to be a Trophy Boy. I remember him being one of the first brands that wasn’t only gay but had an Asian model. To this day, I challenge you to look at how many Asian men are included in underwear/gay ads. It’s rare to this day. So to see it back then was insane! It made me feel like it was for me. To be a part of a brand that made me feel included, in a part of my life when everything else made me feel “other,” is very special.
What kind of underwear on a guy turns you on the most?
I have recently fallen in love with thongs. The more skin the better. I think thongs make guys’ butts look the best and are the most flattering!
Any tips on dating while in the adult industry?
Communication is the most important thing in a relationship. Honesty, being candid with your partner, and always making your partner feel more important than sex with anyone else. You can have sex with anyone, and if someone makes you or your partner feel anything negatively, find someone else.

Be honest with your turn-ons, so you give yourself the freedom to explore them.
