Now that the world is opening up a bit in some places, we can begin thinking about leaving the house again for the first time in a year. If you're like many gay men in America, you probably found yourself growing somewhat more isolated and embracing your inner lone wolf side during this pandemic. Being a lone wolf is great when you're just gaming, jerking off and watching Netflix for many months on end, but it often can feel quite daunting to go out and about in the world and enjoy quality gay excursions by yourself. But it's time to abandon those fears! More and more it's becoming not only socially acceptable but also hip and cool to go at things solo! Going to see a movie alone? Eating out a fancy restaurant with just the company of your e-reader? Or even going to a drag show at a gay bar all by your lonesome? Unless you are hopelessly extroverted, you will find that these activities can be just as enjoyable as they'd be with your mates! Of course you may be thinking, but won't everyone be staring and judging? Who is that unlovable weirdo in the corner, you assume they ponder. But in reality, everyone probably thinks you are a cool, mysterious confident hunk who doesn't need another man to enjoy life! And guess what? It'll be hard to maintain your solo-status for long because everyone will want to fuck you! Exploring the world solo is a great way to find a new lover, arguably a lot better than endlessly swiping thru torsos on dating apps. Just make sure you that don't erect walls of solitude that are impenetrably strong or you may be unable to seize the opportunity for a love connection when it happens. But if your treat everyday like an adventure, you're bound to attract likeminded, independent and equally hunky men as you! Plus, when you're just always hanging with your usual friends and fucking your usual type of guys, you have a harder time reinventing yourself. Both you and your social orbit can get a total makeover! Ultimately, going out with friends rather than solo will always have some benefits, not the least of which are saving money and greater physical safety. But if you're someone who's always been to scared to try an excursion alone, then you owe it to yourself to give it a shot! What better time than the present?
