Though Pride Month may be behind us, the party never really ends! Pride is a year-round feeling for members of the LGBTQI+ community, and we find every way possible to celebrate it. One such method of celebration is the coveted circuit party. Circuit parties have long been a cultural phenomenon in our community, merging flashing lights, loud music, sexy dancers, and freedom of expression without fear of shame. Let's look at why these events are so meaningful to us.

Loud Music

Pulsating music is a staple of gay bars, so why not make that one of the most prominent features? Any circuit party worth going to will have dozens of massive speakers with electronic dance music bursting throughout the night. Sometimes, you'll hear remixes of songs you know, but most times, it's just about the beat. Anything to get us dancing, we'll take it! (If you frequent these parties, earplugs might be a brilliant accessory to bring along, just to be safe.)

Crowded Dance Floors

Speaking of dancing, we crave the spacious dance floors packed with crowds. The dance floor is a sexy mosh-pit of sweaty bodies. Just thinking about it makes us a little sweaty! If you go to these parties hoping to meet someone to have a little fun with, you're in luck! There's always a guy or two to cozy up to while you're enjoying the music!

Sexy Outfits

Circuit parties allow us to plan the sexiest, sultriest outfit possible. Jockstraps, harnesses, singlets, thongs, leather, and more grace the beautiful bodies we surround ourselves with at these events. The self-expression through what you wear (or what you don't) makes this event one of the highlights of being gay.

New Friends and Old Ones, Too!

There are always new people to meet at circuit parties. Dance around the party and meet as many new friends as possible! If you frequent circuit parties, you're likely to encounter several familiar faces from past parties. These "circuit friends" are some of the best out there! Whether you've been to countless circuit parties or you're looking into attending your first, they are a safe space of self-expression, love, and fun for all! We recommend checking out the VIP options for an elevated circuit experience.
