This Fall I'm starting at a military university in my state, and there's something I'm much more nervous about than drill sergeants or bullets. I think it's safe to assume that I am one of the only gay men in my class, which in theory is fine, but I am dreading the group showers. It's routine, common and necessary to strip naked and wash myself in the company of all the other cadets, and I just don't see a universe where I don't get a boner in that situation. I'm not trying to be creepy or go against esprit de corps or anything, but it's just a natural reaction right? How do I avoid this unwanted salute? Or should I just go AWOL now?

When one is lathering up one's cock and balls, it's pretty normal to swell up, whether you be gay or straight. If you're cool with group showers, then so is everyone else.
